🔆 Understanding the Indicator Light on Your Starpil Wax Warmer

If you’ve noticed the light on your Starpil warmer turning on and off — or even flickering — don’t worry! This is completely normal and part of how the warmer operates.

What Does the Light Mean?

The indicator light shows when your warmer is actively heating up.

  • Light ON: The warmer is heating to reach the temperature you’ve set.

  • ⚠️ Light OFF or Flickering: The warmer has reached that temperature and is maintaining it.

This light is not a power indicator — it's a temperature indicator. It helps you know when to check your wax, stir it, and make sure it's at the right consistency for use.

Why Does the Light Turn Off Sometimes?

Once your warmer hits the set temperature, it will stop heating temporarily, and the light will go off or flicker. This helps maintain a consistent temperature without overheating your wax.

Melting Time Tip

The amount of wax in your pot affects how long it takes to heat up:

  • 🔥 A full 5lb or 10lb warmer will take longer to melt than a half-filled pot.

  • ⏱ If your pot is fuller, be patient — this is normal!

What Should I Really Pay Attention To?

The #1 thing to check is whether the warmer is heating at all.
✅ If your wax is slowly melting and the temperature rises over time — the unit is working properly.
