🧴 How to Store Your Roll-On Waxes & What to Do If Spillage Occurs

We understand how important it is to keep your workspace clean and your supplies protected, especially when it comes to wax cartridges. Learn how to store roll-ons and what to do if leaking occurs.

Our roll-on waxes are designed with a low melting point, which ensures a gentle, skin-safe experience. However, during the warmer summer months, this feature can also make the wax more prone to softening or leaking in transit or storage.

🌡️ Why Is My Roll-On Wax Leaking?

Two main factors can cause wax to leak from the cartridge:

  1. Heat exposure – In warmer months or when stored in non-climate-controlled environments, our low melting point wax may soften and become more fluid. This can cause the wax to rise and leak through the cartridge head.

  2. Improper storage position – If the cartridges are stored on their side or upside down, the softened wax may shift and leak out. Because these cartridges are filled with soft wax, this is a normal possibility when not stored upright.

✅ How to Store Your Roll-On Waxes

To minimize spillage and keep your cartridges in top condition, we recommend the following storage tips:

  • Keep in a cool, dry area — avoid leaving wax cartridges in hot cars, near windows, or in direct sunlight.

  • Always store upright  to prevent pressure on the applicator head.

  • Ensure the protective film is fully in place until you're ready to use the cartridge.

  • Avoid refrigeration, as it can cause condensation when returned to room temp and may affect wax flow and performance.

💧 If Spillage Occurs:

Don't worry — roll-on wax can be cleaned easily with a little care.

  1. Wipe away any excess wax using a waxing cleanser or oil designed to remove wax residue.

  2. If the cartridge is still sealed and usable, make sure the protective film is pressed down tightly to prevent additional leakage and maintain sanitation of your roll-on.

  3. Store in a sealed bag or container to avoid sticking to other items until you're ready to use it.
